The Foundation Bench is a low, robust chest with plush cushion. Its closed-front paneling echoes the ensemble’s grid motif, and its generous seat invites reading or relaxation. Concealed beneath the cushion is spacious storage for linens or pillows—hidden yet always at hand.
Flanking either side of the bench, the Treasury Chests feature twin doors with inset panels and refined brass knobs. Kōśa (treasure) compartments keep documents, books, or media neatly organized behind a calm, symmetrical façade.
The Contemplation Desk spans from bench to chest, offering a clear expanse for writing, laptop use, or artistic sketching. Its unbroken teak surface is softened with wedged edges for wrist comfort, while an under-table raceway keeps cables discreetly managed.
