Tāraka Tides

Tāraka Tides

Tāraka Tides — named after the “guiding star” — is a handcrafted wall sculpture that captures the celestial rhythm of fish in motion, echoing Kerala’s coastal heritage and cosmic mythology. Finished in aged oceanic blue, its flowing form draws from the Matsya Purana, temple pond circles (Chilambu kinaru), and fisherfolk murals of Kollam and Beypore. Evoking the moonlit dances of river shoals and stories of divine navigation, it becomes more than décor — it is a spiritual and sensory experience. Ideal for heritage resorts or mindful interiors, Tāraka Tides is where myth, memory, and minimalism converge.
