 Indumukha Mandira Console

Indumukha Mandira Console

The Indumukha Mandira Console, locally called നില ഇരിപ്പിടം കൺസോൾ (Nila Irippidam Console), is a refined and tranquil bench console inspired by the quiet glow of Kerala’s moonlit interiors and pooja platforms. Painstakingly crafted from warm, fine-grained wood, this piece artfully blends the restraint of modern design with the poetry of traditional home architec-ture. Its low, grounded seat, fluted panel drawers, hidden handles, and slender temple-like legs create an object that’s part sanctum, part storage, and always a statement of quiet strength and style. Whether gracing a living room as an entertainment platform, a hallway as a console, or a verandah as a resting bench, it brings minimalism, memory, and meaning into the home

Sacred Parts, Timeless Wholeness

Each component reflects a story of devotion, culture, and skilled hands

Indushikha Peedha Saanu Top of Indumukha Mandira Console

Indushikha Peedha Saanu Top

The Indushikha Peedha Saanu Top Pillar (“Moon-Crest Platform Top Pillar”) is a wide, smooth surface glowing with the warmth of polished wood. Like a sacred pooja plank or temple altar, it offers both practical display and a calm, elevated beauty, perfect for art objects, plants, or daily rituals.

Veedujala Mara Pattika Panel of Indumukha Mandira Console

Veedujala Mara Pattika Panel

The Veedujala Mara Pattika Panel Gate (“Home Lattice Wooden Panel Gate”) uses fluted, slatted drawer faces inspired by Kerala’s classic jaala window screens. The rhythmic grooves give tex-ture and elongated grace, echoing the ventilated beauty of temple corridors and ancestral homes—concealing modern storage with tradition’s artistry.

Stambhavari Thunigal Leg Pillar of Indumukha Mandira Console

Stambhavari Thunigal Leg Pillar

The Stambhavari Thunigal Leg Pillar (“Pillar Cluster Leg Pillar”) is a set of four tapered supports subtly flared like temple stambhas. With balanced elevation and elegant poise, these legs ground the piece in classic Kerala style, supporting not just weight but the symbolic dignity of a family pil-lar.

Akaasha Kaaval Varambu End Gate of Indumukha Mandira Console

Akaasha Kaaval Varambu End Gate

The Akaasha Kaaval Varambu End Gate (“Sky-Guard Border End Gate”) features gently curving side flanks, softening the bench’s linear stance just like the edges of a sanctum or the arc of tiled roof eaves. These verticals complete the form, guiding the eye inward and upholding the soulful containment of the design.
