Majestic Dwayam Dining Set

Majestic Dwayam Dining Set

Crafted with ananta kāla saundarya — timeless elegance — this wooden dining chair honors the rich samskṛti of South Indian tradition. Inspired by the sacred thrones of Kerala’s tharavad manḍapams and the graceful pillars of Chettinad gṛhaṅgaṇas, it blends heritage with refined craftsmanship. The tall, lotus-shaped backrest offers sammāna (respect) and support, while the softly arched legs recall the strength and poise of temple sthambhas. Every curve is śilpakara’s touch, polished to reveal the natural grain, evoking the warmth of ancestral nālukettu and aṅgala veedus. More than a seat, this chair is smṛti and satkāra — a living link between tradition and the present, perfect for spaces where memories and stories are honored.

Kamala Crest Back

The crest curves like the tender bloom of a lotus, India’s eternal symbol of purity and spiritual ascent. Just as the lotus rises untouched from muddy waters, the backrest rises with grace — elevating the soul and the spine of anyone who sits upon this royal seat.

Simhasana Seat Base

More than a surface — this is the seat of sovereignty, echoing the ancient siṁhāsanam of sages and kings. It cradles the body while anchoring dignity, serenity, and presence — like a silent pedestal for wisdom.

The central spine of the chair, often intricately carved, becomes a living scroll of heritage. Each groove tells a tale — of dynasty, craftsmanship, and rooted elegance — acting as the vertebrae of tradition.

Gaja Tusk Legs of Majestic Dwayam Dining Set

Gaja Tusk Legs

Modeled after the majestic tusks of the royal elephant, these legs provide mighty rear support. They represent raw power restrained by design, silently carrying the legacy of Kerala’s elephant processions and temple grandeur.

Mandira Pillars of Majestic Dwayam Dining Set

Mandira Pillars

These legs are inspired by the pillars of Kerala’s ancient temples, sculpted with symmetry and divinity. Like dhvajasthambhas (flag masts) or gopura pillars, they uphold not just the weight of the chair — but the grace of sacred architecture.

Sutradhara Lines of Majestic Dwayam Dining Set

Chanadhana Finish of Majestic Dwayam Dining Set

Chanadhana Finish

Bathed in the glow of sandal and gold — this finish is a homage to the South Indian spiritual palette. The aura it gives is warm and divine, reminiscent of temple altars, bridal ornaments, and sacred rituals performed under oil-lit lamps.

Ananta Surface

The infinite plane of gathering — this surface is the sacred stage of life, where conversations blossom, meals are shared, and bonds are strengthened. “Ananta” invokes the concept of limitlessness, echoing the eternal nature of tradition and togetherness.

Vritta Veil of Majestic Dwayam Dining Set

Vritta Veil

Encircling the table like a halo of divinity, this rim is inspired by the rounded maṇḍalas of temple sanctums. It holds the energy within, just like sacred geometry holds cosmic power — elegant containment meets ornamental wisdom.

Kalamezhuthu Skirt of Majestic Dwayam Dining Set

Kalamezhuthu Skirt

Resembling the adorned fringe of a traditional mural (kalam), this layer offers ornamental depth. Like the border of a rangoli or kolam, it carries artistic heritage — a garland of lines that celebrates the ritualistic beauty of Kerala's visual culture.

Nakshathra Joints of Majestic Dwayam Dining Set

Nakshathra Joints

Each corner holds a star-shaped binding point, invoking the precision of celestial alignments. Just as nakṣatras guide our destinies, these joints embody stability through cosmic symmetry, a silent harmony of geometry and grace.

A subtle glow like aged kasturi (musk) or golden sandalwood. This finish whispers of fragrance, warmth, and sacred richness — the kind that lingers in temple carvings, heirloom chests, and age-old palaces kissed by time.
