Nidra Vedi

Nidra Vedi

The Nidra Vedi — meaning “sleep platform” — is a handcrafted wooden console that blends sacred stillness with modern function. Inspired by temple vedis, ancestral oonu medus, and outward-angled Chuttambalam legs, it offers a double-tiered structure: an upper bay for lamps or rituals, and a deep lower shelf for books or linens. With its mindful geometry and tropical hardwood build, Nidra Vedi becomes more than furniture — it is a quiet pedestal for pause, ideal for verandahs, meditative foyers, or tranquil living spaces, where Indian tradition meets global minimalism in a celebration of slow living.
